• . <br /> (1) That said territory is situate immediately adjacent to <br /> and touches and is contiguous to the boundaries of the City of <br /> Redwood City; and <br /> (2) That on January 4, 1960, this Council did adopt its <br /> Resolution No. 2950, entitled "Resolution of the Council of the City <br /> of Redwood City Giving Notice of, and Declaring its Intention to, <br /> Initiate on its own Motion Proceedings to Annex to said City Cer- <br /> tain Uninhabited Territory; Describing said Territory and Designating <br /> it by the Name ?Bresso Annexation ►; Giving its Reasons for Desiring <br /> said Annexation; Making Certain Findings Respecting said Proceedings; <br /> and Giving Notice of the Time and Place said Council will hear <br /> Protests to said Annexation," wherein it gave notice of said pro- <br /> posed annexation, described said territory and designated it by <br /> the above mentioned name, made certain findings respecting said <br /> proposal and gave notice of the time and place this Council would <br /> hear protests thereto; and <br /> (3) That less than twelve (12) registered voters resided <br /> within said territory at the time the above mentioned resolution <br /> was adopted by this Council, and that said territory is therefore <br /> uninhabited; and <br /> (L) That the City Clerk has caused a copy of said Resolution <br /> No. 2950 to be published in the manner and within the time required <br /> by law, and has also caused written notice of such proposed annexa- <br /> tion to be mailed to all persons or bodies to whom such notice <br /> is required by law to be given; all in the manner and time re- <br /> quired by law; and <br /> (5) That this Council did in said Resolution No. 2950, set <br /> and designate February 29, 1960, at the hour of 8:00 P.M., in the <br /> Board of Supervisor's Chambers, Hall of Justice and Records, <br /> Redwood City, San Mateo County, California, as the day, hour, and <br /> place when and where said Council would hear protests against said <br /> annexation; and <br /> -2- <br />
