(6) That none of the territory within the boundaries of the territory proposed to be annexed is owned by a junior college dis- trict; and WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 35313 of the Government Code of the State of California, the Council determined that the value of the publicly -owned territory included within the territory proposed to be annexed, including land and improvements thereon is Zero Dollars ($0.00 ). and WHEREAS, this Council duly met and convened at said time and place for the purpose of hearing and passing upon all protests to said proposed annexation, and to the time(s) and place(s) to which said hearing was continued, and has at the hearing in open public session duly asked for protests, if any, to the proposed annexa- tion and has given all persons full opportunity to protest said annexation and has received evidence relevant to such annexation; NOW, THEREFORE, said Council of the City of Redwood City does hereby find and determine that protest to the proposed annexation to the City of Redwood City of the territory designated "Bresso Annexation" and more fully described in that certain Resolution No. 2950, entitled "Resolution of the Council of the City of Redwood City Giving Notice of, and Declaring its Intention to, Initiate on its own Motion Proceedings to Annex to said City Cer- tain Uninhabited Territory; Describing said Territory and Designa- ting it by the Name * Bresso Annexation'; Giving its Reasons for Desiring said Annexation; Making Certain Findings Respecting said Proceedings; and Giving Notice of the Time and Place said Council will hear Protests to said Annexation," adopted by said Council on the 4th day of January, 1960, has not been made by the owners of one -half of the value of private property within the said des - -3-
