• 2. That less than twelve (12) registered voters resided within said territory at the time the above mentioned petition was filed with this Council, and that said territory is therefor uninhab- ited; and, 3. That said petition is signed by owners of not less than one - fourth of the land in said territory by area, and by assessed value as shown on the last egzalized assessment roll of the County of San Mateo, California, in which said County such territory is situated; and, 4. That on August 17, 1959, this Council did adopt its Resolution No. 2847, entitled "Resolution of the Council of the City of Redwood City Giving Notice of the Proposed Annexation of Certain Uninhabited Territory to said City; Describing said Ter- ritory and Designating it by the Name 'Sequoia Terrace'; Making Certain Findings Respecting said Proposal; and Giving Notice of Time and Place said Council will Hear Protests Thereto," wherein it gave notice of said proposed annexation, described said ter- ritory and designated it by the above mentioned name, made certain findings respecting said proposal and gave notice of the time and place this Council would hear protests thereto; and, 5. That the City Clerk has caused a copy of said Resolution No. 2847 to be published in the manner and within the time required by law, and has also caused written notice of such pro- s posed annexation to be mailed to all persons or bodies to whom such notice is required by law to be given; all in the manner and time required by law; and, 6. That this Council did in said Resolution No. 2847 set and designated October 5, 1959, at the hour of 8:00 o'clock P.M., in the Board of Supervisors' Chambers, Hall of Justice and Records, Redwood City, San Mateo County, California, as the day, -2-
