• <br /> 2. That less than twelve (12) registered voters resided within <br /> said territory at the time the above mentioned petition was filed <br /> with this Council, and that said territory is therefor uninhab- <br /> ited; and, <br /> 3. That said petition is signed by owners of not less than <br /> one - fourth of the land in said territory by area, and by assessed <br /> value as shown on the last egzalized assessment roll of the County <br /> of San Mateo, California, in which said County such territory is <br /> situated; and, <br /> 4. That on August 17, 1959, this Council did adopt its <br /> Resolution No. 2847, entitled "Resolution of the Council of the <br /> City of Redwood City Giving Notice of the Proposed Annexation of <br /> Certain Uninhabited Territory to said City; Describing said Ter- <br /> ritory and Designating it by the Name 'Sequoia Terrace'; Making <br /> Certain Findings Respecting said Proposal; and Giving Notice of <br /> Time and Place said Council will Hear Protests Thereto," wherein <br /> it gave notice of said proposed annexation, described said ter- <br /> ritory and designated it by the above mentioned name, made certain <br /> findings respecting said proposal and gave notice of the time and <br /> place this Council would hear protests thereto; and, <br /> 5. That the City Clerk has caused a copy of said Resolution <br /> No. 2847 to be published in the manner and within the time <br /> required by law, and has also caused written notice of such pro- <br /> s posed annexation to be mailed to all persons or bodies to whom <br /> such notice is required by law to be given; all in the manner <br /> and time required by law; and, <br /> 6. That this Council did in said Resolution No. 2847 set <br /> and designated October 5, 1959, at the hour of 8:00 o'clock P.M., <br /> in the Board of Supervisors' Chambers, Hall of Justice and <br /> Records, Redwood City, San Mateo County, California, as the day, <br /> -2- <br />
