GID 1 -64 Development Agreement Temporary Extension <br />ADOPT ORDINANCE 2249 APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />SEVENTH AMENDMENT TO DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT WITH REDWOOD <br />SHORES PROPERTIES (GID 1 -64). (First reading on 5/19/03). <br />CONVENE THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY MEETING <br />(SEE SEPARATE MINUTES) <br />RECONVENE THE REGULAR SESSION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />8. PUBLIC HEARINGS <br />A. Urban Water Management Plan Amendment (UWMP) (Public Hearing closed <br />on 5/19/03) <br />Public Works Services Ingram explained that this item is a follow -up item from the <br />hearing on May 12, in which Council direction was to word development for <br />Section 2.2. The recommended language was included in the Council packet. <br />M/S Ruskin /Jordan to: <br />1. Approve language changes in Section 2.2 of the Urban Water Management <br />Plan <br />2. Approve resolution amending the Urban Water Management Plan <br />ADOPT RESOLUTION 14530 TO ADOPT AMENDMENT TO URBAN WATER <br />MANAGEMENT PLAN <br />Council Member Hartnett stated that he would be voting no because by adding the <br />language to the UWMP it would be taking the issue of mandatory water off the <br />table. <br />Mayor Claire stated that because he still has no information on the non - mandatory <br />aspects and affects on the financing of the project. He restated his concern that <br />this would lock future Councils and that he would be voting no. <br />The motion passed by a majority roll call vote with Council Member Hartnett <br />and Mayor Claire voting no.
