D. Charter Amendments Discussion <br />Mayor Claire stated that the City Charter contains some obsolete provisions and <br />the City Attorney has suggested that the election provides the mechanism to <br />present Charter amendments. He further stated that he and Vice Mayor Ira will <br />serve as the ad hoc committee and will provide information to the Council for <br />consideration of any proposed amendments. MINUTE ORDER 03 -125 <br />10. ADJOURNMENT —9:25 p.m. <br />M/S Jordan /Hartnett to adjourn until the next City Council meeting of June 9, 2003. The <br />motion passed by a unanimous roll call vote in memory of Lettie Distefano, who along <br />with her husband Bob purchased the Redwood City Almanac and served as an <br />independent voice in the city.
