Important scheduling milestones are shown as follows: <br /> Site Reconnaissance of metering sites: November 8, 2010 <br /> Documentation of Field Reconnaissance: November 12, 2010 <br /> Approval of Sites by City (if changes are required): November 19, 2010 <br /> All meters and rain gauge installed and operating: December 3, 2010 <br /> First data batch reported to City: December 23, 2010 <br /> Meters Removed: February 4, 2011 <br /> Final Report: April 1, 2011 <br /> Proposed Hours and Cost: The hours and cost are shown in a table which immediately follows the <br /> detailed scope of work for the subject services: <br /> SCOPE OF WORK <br /> The following is our detailed scope of work for the project services. This scope of work was developed as <br /> a result of our review of the request for proposal and represents our mutual understanding. <br /> Task Description <br /> 1. Field Reconnaissance and Document Review: V&A will review available plans and documents, and <br /> conduct field reconnaissance of the proposed flow monitoring sites identified by the City. The purpose of <br /> the reconnaissance will be to assess hydraulic conditions, manhole access, traffic control requirements, <br /> and safety issues for each site. Any modifications to the proposed meter sites will be submitted to the City <br /> for review and approval by the City. Deliverable: Documentation of site reconnaissance and final flow <br /> monitoring sites will be submitted to the City by November 12, 2010. <br /> 2. Installation / Calibration / Maintenance / Removal of Flow Monitors: V&A will install 8 flow meters <br /> and one rain gauge for a period of 60 days starting no later than December 3, 2010, with an option to <br /> extend the monitoring on a weekly basis up to one additional month. The flow meters will be area - <br /> velocity type capable of measuring flows and flow depths under surcharge conditions. Pipe diameters <br /> will range from approximately 8 to 15 inches. Rain gauges will be tipping bucket type capable of <br /> recording to 0.01 inches. The flow monitoring locations are listed as follows: <br /> i. Brewster Avenue near Clinton Street (10 ") <br /> ii. Hudson Street near Roosevelt Avenue (12 ") <br /> iii. James Avenue near Clinton Street (15 ") <br /> iv. Roosevelt Avenue near Iris Street (8 ") <br /> v. Fairview Avenue near Alley (12 ") <br />
