110 41, <br /> R E S O L U T I O IV Iti 0. 2 9 4 8 <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVII" G CONTRACT FOR OC I STTLTI 7 l SERVICES <br /> IIT 00" • m'_ T;'7_ ROPCSED LUEICIPAL AUDITORIU• <br /> WHEREAS, public need and necessity requires the City of <br /> Redwood City to construct and maintain certain auditorium facil- <br /> ities for civic purposes; and <br /> WHEREAS, in connection with such proposed auditorium facil- <br /> ities it is necessary and desirable that special consulting ser- <br /> vices be obtained to advise the City as to the feasibility of such <br /> a project; and <br /> W= JREAS, International Association of Auditorium hanagers, <br /> Inc., has specialized knowledge and experience in the particular <br /> type of problems facing the City of Redwood City and in the various <br /> types of auditorium facilities which may be applicable to the needs <br /> of this City; and <br /> NE_ER.EAS, an agreement has been presented to this Council <br /> providing for said organization to prepare a survey and to submit <br /> a survey report in connection with the proposed municipal aud- <br /> itorium, a copy of which agreement is presently on file in the <br /> office of the City Clerk; <br /> NOW, TA!. EREFORE : <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br /> AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 1. The above mentioned agreement, entitled "Agreement for <br /> Consulting Services in Connection with a Proposed Vunicipal <br /> Auditorium," on file In the office of the City Clerk, to which <br /> agreement reference is hereby made for full particulars concerning <br /> the detailed terns and provisions thereof, is hereby approved and <br /> the City % Tanager is hereby authorized to execute said agreement <br /> for and on behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br />
