lit <br /> AGREEMENT <br /> FOR CONSULTING SERVICES IV CONNECTION <br /> WITH A PROPOSED MUNICIPAL AUDITORIUM <br /> AGREEMENT entered into this day of <br /> 19 $ by and between the CITY OP REDWOOD CITY, a municipal car- <br /> poration, hereinafter called "City," and INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION <br /> OP AUDITORIUM MANAGERS, INC., a corporation, hereinafter called <br /> "Consultant," <br /> WITNESSETH: <br /> WHEREAS, City has need of and public necessity requires public <br /> auditorium facilities for civic purposes within the City of Redwodd <br /> City; and <br /> WHEREAS, Consultant has speolalised practical experience <br /> enabling it to analyze the problems and needs of the City of Redwood <br /> City and a particular knowledge of the specific types of construe* <br /> tion to be used in oonnection with civic auditorium facilities and <br /> is qualified to perform consulting services and related services <br /> in connection therewith; and <br /> WHEREAS, City desires to contract for certain consulting ser* <br /> vices of Consultant as an independent oontractor; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE: <br /> In consideration of the mutual covenants, agreements and <br /> conditions contained herein the parties hereto do hereby agree <br /> as follows; <br /> 1 Survey Required. Consultant agrees to conduct a survey <br /> in connection with said proposed public auditorium facilities and <br /> to prepare and submit a survey report providing the City with <br /> general information, Consultant's findings of fact, and Consultant's <br /> reeammendations on the following: <br /> (a) The need and feasibility for auditorium facilities <br /> to serve the City of Redwood City and the surrounding <br /> area. <br />
