NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, and said Council of said City does determine, that serial bonds to represent unpaid assess- ments, and bearing interest at a rate not to exceed six per cent (6 %) per annum, will be issued hereunder in the manner provided by Division 7, Part 5, of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California (Improvement Act of 1911 Type) and the last installment of such bonds shall mature fourteen (14) years from the 2nd day of January next succeeding the next October 15th following their date. Said bonds shall be payable to bearer and shall contain a provision for a five per cent (5 %) pre - payment premium. 8. Reference is hereby made to the resolution of said Council determining to make said improvements without compliance with the Special Assessment, Investigation, Limitation and Majority Protest Act of 1931, being Resolution No. A 7 / on file in the office of the Clerk of said City. 9. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN of the fact that in many cases said work and improvements will bring the finished surface of the proposed streets to a grade different from the surface of such streets as they now exist, and that to said extent said grades are hereby changed, and that said work will be done to said changed grades. 10. Except as here and otherwise provided for the issuance of bonds, all of said proceedings will be had pursuant to Article II -A of Ordinance No. 333 of the City of Redwood City, entitled Redwood City Improvement Procedure Ordinance, as amended, and Ordinance No. 515 of said City, as amended. 11. Said proposed improvements are hereby referred to the City Engineer of the City of Redwood City as the officer having charge and control of the construction of public improvements in said City, of the kind described herein, and said Engineer, being a competent person employed for that purpose, is hereby directed to make and file with the Clerk of Redwood City a report in -4-
