SWC:mf 5/17/82 SWC:mf 5/20/82 BY-LAWS OF THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY ARTICLE I - THE AGENCY Section 1. Name of Agency. The name of the Agency shall be the "Redevelopment Agency of the City of Redwood City". Section 2. Seal of Agency. The seal of the Agency shall be in the form of a circle and shall bear the name of the Agency and the year of its organization. Section 3. Office of Agency. The office of the Agency shall be at City Hall, 1017 Middlefield Road, Redwood City, California, or at such place in the City of Redwood City, California as the Agency may from time to time designate by resolution. ARTICLE II - OFFICERS Section 1. Officers. The officers of the Agency shall be a chairman, a vice-chairman, a secretary, an executive director and a treasurer. Such other officers as may be deemed necessary may be appointed by the members of the Agency. Section 2. Chairman. The chairman shall be the Mayor of the City of Redwood City. He or she shall preside at all meetings of the Agency. Except as otherwise authorized by resolution of the Agency, the chairman shall sign all contracts, deeds and other instruments made by the Agency. At each meeting the Chairman shall submit such recommendations and information as he or she may consider proper concerning the business affairs and policies of the Agency. Section 3. Vice Chairman. The vice-chairman shall be the Vice-Mayor of the City of Redwood City. He or she shall perform the duties of the chairman in the absence, incapacity, refusal or inability of the chairman to act. Section 4. Secretary. The secretary shall be the City Clerk of the City of Redwood City. He or she shall attend all meetings of the agency and keep and maintain a full and true record of all proceedings of the Agency, keep all records of the Agency, have custody of the seal of the Agency, and shall perform all duties incident to the office of secretary.
