SWC:mf 5/17/82 <br /> SWC:mf 5/20/82R <br /> <br /> Section 5. Executive Director. The executive director shall <br />be the City Manager of the City of Redwood City. He or she shall <br />have general supervision over the administration of the business <br />and affairs of the Agency, subject to the direction of the Agency. <br /> <br /> Section 6. Treasurer. The Treasurer shall be the Director of <br />Finance of the City of Redwood City. It shall be the Treasurer's <br />duty to receive and safely keep all monies and securities belonging <br />to the Agency and coming into the Treasurer's hands, and to pay out <br />the same only on warrants signed by the proper officers, except the <br />principal and interest due on bonds of the Agency. The Treasurer <br />shall deposit, with such depositories as are provided by law, all <br />funds coming into said Treasurer's possession. All interest on <br />money so deposited shall accrue to the benefit of the Agency. The <br />Treasurer may invest such Agency funds as are not required for <br />immediate expenditure in any instruments as are provided for by law <br />for the investment of public funds generally. <br /> <br /> Section 7. Additional Duties. The officers of the Agency <br />shall perform such other duties as may be required by the Agency of <br />the by-laws or rules and regulations of the Agency. <br /> <br /> Section 8. Additional Personnel. The Agency may from time to <br />time employ such personnel as it deems necessary to exercise its <br />powers, duties and functions as prescribed by the Community <br />Redevelopment Law, as amended, of the State of California (Health <br />and Safety Code, §§3500 et seq.). The selection and compensation of <br />such personnel shall be determined by the Agency. In addition, the <br />Agency may utilize the services of officers and employees of the <br />City of Redwood City to act on behalf of the Agency in the same <br />capacity as if they were acting on behalf of the City of Redwood <br />City. <br /> <br /> ARTICLE III - MEETINGS <br /> <br /> Section 1. Regular Meetings. Regular meetings of the Agency <br />shall be held without notice on the second and fourth Monday of each <br />month immediately following adjournment of the preceding City <br />Council meeting, which begins at 7:30 P.M. in the Supervisors' <br />Chambers of the Hall of Justice and Records, 401 Marshall Street, <br />Redwood City, California. In the event a day of regular meeting <br />shall be a holiday, no meeting shall be held until the next <br />regularly scheduled meeting. <br /> <br /> Section 2. Special Meetings. Special meetings may be called <br />at any time by the chairman or by a majority of members of the <br />Agency by delivering personally or by mail written notice to each <br />member of the Agency and to each local newspaper of general <br />circulation, radio or television station requesting notice in <br /> <br /> 2 <br /> <br /> <br />
