fixed Friday, the 24th day of September, 1948, at the hour of <br /> 8 :00 o'clock P.M. of said day at the Council Chambers of the <br /> Council of the City of Redwood City in the City Hall on Middle- <br /> field Road in said City, as the d ay, hour and place when and <br /> where any and all persons having any objections to the proposed <br /> work and improvements described in said Resolution of Invention <br /> No. 610, or to the 3rades at which said work and improvements <br /> are to be done and made, or to the district assessed for said <br /> work and improvements, could appear before said Council and <br /> show cause why said proposed work and improvements should not <br /> be carried out and done in accordance with said Resolution of <br /> Intention No. 610, or why said work and improvements should not <br /> be carried out and done at the grades as shown on the plans, <br /> profiles and detailed drawings referred to in said Resolution of <br /> Intention N. 610 and now on file in the office of the Clerk of <br /> the City of Redwood City; and <br /> WHEREAS, the said hearing was duly and regularly con- <br /> tinued until Monday, September 27th, 1948, at the hour of 8 :00 <br /> o'clock P.M. of said day at the Council Chambers of the Council <br /> of the City of Redwood City in the City Hall on Middlefield <br /> Road in said City; and <br /> WHEREAS, at the day, hour and place last above mentioned, <br /> no persons appeared and made written objections to said work and <br /> improvements described in said Resolution of Intention No. 610, or <br /> to the extent of the district to be assessed therefor; and <br /> WHEREAS, said Council did resolve and determine that <br /> protests were not made by one -half (2) of the owners of the <br /> property proposed to be assessed for said work and improvements; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, said Council has acquired jurisdiction to order <br /> said work and improvements: <br /> NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the <br /> City of Redwood City that the public interest and convenience <br /> 2. <br />
