<br /> 303 Inquiry
<br /> 304 "Inquiry" means a written or orally communicated request for information, request for Collection
<br /> 305 services, or request for change in service level made by members of the public, Customers,
<br /> 306 Owners, or Occupants of properties served by Contractor, or by officers, employees or agents
<br /> 307 of Agency or SBWMA.
<br /> 308 Kitchen Pail
<br /> 309 "Kitchen Pail" means a receptacle suitable for the storage of Food Scraps that has a capacity of
<br /> 310 1.5 to 2.5 gallons, a wire or plastic handle, and a lid.
<br /> 311 Line of Business
<br /> 312 "Line of Business" means the individual types of Collection service provided by Contractor to
<br /> 313 each Service Sector, including Recyclable Materials Collection service, Organic Materials
<br /> 314 Collection service and Solid Waste Collection service.
<br /> 315 Liquidated Damages
<br /> 316 "Liquidated Damages" means the amounts owed by Contractor to the Agency for failure to meet
<br /> 317 specific standards of performance as described in Section 14.07.
<br /> 318 Major Appliances
<br /> 319 "Major Appliances" means any device including, but not limited to, washing machines, clothes
<br /> 320 dryer, hot water heaters, dehumidifiers, conventional ovens, microwave ovens, stoves,
<br /> 321 refrigerators, freezers, air - conditioners, trash compactors, and residential furnaces discarded by
<br /> 322 Customers. Major Appliances are commonly referred to as White Goods.
<br /> 323 Materials Recovery Facility (MRF)
<br /> 324 "Materials Recovery Facility" means a permitted facility where Solid Waste, Targeted
<br /> 325 Recyclable Materials, Organic Materials, and other materials are processed, sorted or
<br /> 326 separated for the purposes of recovering reusable or Targeted Recyclable Materials. For the
<br /> 327 purposes of this Agreement, Agency has designated the Shoreway Recycling and Disposal
<br /> 328 Center, located at 225 and 333 Shoreway Road, San Carlos, CA, owned by the SBWMA, as its
<br /> 329 Designated Transfer and Processing Facility.
<br /> 330 Measured Contamination Level
<br /> 331 "Measured Contamination Level" means the Contamination Level of the Targeted Recyclable
<br /> 332 Materials, Plant Materials, and Organic Materials delivered by Contractor to the Designated
<br /> 333 Transfer and Processing Facility determined in accordance with procedures contained in
<br /> 334 Attachments E -1 and E -2.
<br /> 335 Member Agencies
<br /> 336 "Member Agencies" means the following jurisdictions: the cities of Belmont, Burlingame, East
<br /> 337 Palo Alto, Foster City, Menlo Park, Redwood City, San Carlos, and San Mateo; the towns of
<br /> 338 Atherton and Hillsborough; the County of San Mateo; and the West Bay Sanitary District.
<br /> 339 Member Agency Facilities
<br /> 340 "Member Agency Facilities" or "Agency Facilities" means any building, site or open space,
<br /> 341 owned, or leased and maintained, operated or used by a Member Agency.
