• • <br /> 1209 When setting aside a load for sampling, the Operator will document the truck <br /> 1210 number, the date and time of delivery, and will take a photograph of the load. <br /> 1211 The methodology for sampling of single loads is set forth in Attachment E -1. <br /> 1212 D. Supplemental Processing Fee for Excessive Contamination in Salvageable <br /> 1213 Single Loads of Recyclable Materials. <br /> 1214 1. Material Delivered to MRF. If a Toad of Source Separated or Targeted <br /> 1215 Recyclable Materials is determined based on testing pursuant to Section <br /> 1216 6.02.0 to contain contamination in excess of the levels specified in Table 2, <br /> 1217 but is determined by Operator or SBWMA to be salvageable, Contractor will <br /> 1218 be required to pay SBWMA a supplemental processing fee of $25.00 per ton <br /> 1219 for the tons exceeding the maximum contamination level. <br /> 1220 2. Material Delivered to Transfer Station. If a load of Organic Materials is <br /> 1221 determined based on testing pursuant to Section 6.02.0 to contain <br /> 1222 contamination in excess of the levels specified in Table 1, but is determined <br /> 1223 by Operator or SBWMA to be salvageable, Contractor will be required to pay <br /> 1224 SBWMA a supplemental processing fee of $7.00 per ton for the tons <br /> 1225 exceeding the maximum contamination level. <br /> Table 2 <br /> Material Category Maximum Contamination <br /> Level (% by Weight) <br /> Commercial Source Separated or Targeted 15% <br /> Recyclable Materials <br /> Single Family Targeted Recyclable Materials 1 5% <br /> 1226 The supplemental processing fees for Source Separated or Targeted Recyclable <br /> 1227 Materials and Organic Materials will be adjusted in subsequent years by the <br /> 1228 same percentage that the MRF Processing Fee described in Section 7.03 of the <br /> 1229 2009 agreement between SBWMA and South Bay Recycling LLC for operation of <br /> 1230 the Shoreway Recycling and Disposal Center is adjusted each year. <br /> 1231 E. Payment of Transportation and Disposal of Excessive Contamination in <br /> 1232 Unsalvageable Single Loads. <br /> 1233 1. Material Delivered to the MRF. If a load of Source Separated or Targeted <br /> 1234 Recyclable Materials is determined based on testing pursuant to Section <br /> 1235 6.02.0 to contain contamination in excess of the levels specified in Table 2, <br /> 1236 and is determined by Operator or SBWMA to be unsalvageable (i.e., the <br /> 1237 entire load will be disposed of at the Designated Disposal Site), Contractor <br /> 1238 shall reimburse SBWMA for the cost of transportation and disposal of the <br /> 1239 weight of the load minus the weight of the maximum contamination level. <br /> 1240 For example, if the maximum contamination level is 15% and a 10 Ton load <br /> 1241 is determined to contain 30% Contamination, and is unsalvageable, the <br /> 1242 Contractor will be responsible for the cost of transportation and disposal of <br /> 1243 8.5 Tons (e.g., 10 Tons x 85% = 8.5 Tons).
