• • <br /> i <br /> 1800 activities. The events requiring Contractor assistance are not limited to the list of <br /> 1801 Agency- sponsored or other events contained in Attachment C. Participation <br /> 1802 includes providing educational and public outreach information and promotional <br /> 1803 giveaways in an effort to promote the Agency's waste reduction and Recycling <br /> 1804 program goals. <br /> 1805 D. Notification to Commercial Customers. Immediately upon request from a new or <br /> 1806 current Customer for new or changes in service, Contractor shall notify Customer by <br /> 1807 phone or email of the Targeted Recyclable Materials and Organic Materials <br /> 1808 Collection services offered by Contractor. Such notification shall be provided in <br /> 1809 English and Spanish and shall be provided prior to finalizing a Customer's request <br /> 1810 for a subscription to new service(s). <br /> 1811 E. Targeted Commercial Recycling Promotion. Contractor shall provide full on -site <br /> 1812 waste assessment and technical assistance to, at a minimum, one - hundred (100) of <br /> 1813 Agency's largest Commercial Generators (based on weekly Solid Waste <br /> 1814 generation) annually to assist in maximizing diversion. For all other Commercial <br /> 1815 Generators, Contractor shall provide technical assistance as needed or requested <br /> 1816 and visual on -site Collection Container assessments at least once every three (3) <br /> 1817 years. Contractor shall document the site assessments, the date of the <br /> 1818 assessment, the Person contacted, the Solid Waste, Source Separated or Targeted <br /> 1819 Recyclable Materials, and Organic Materials service levels at the time of the <br /> 1820 assessment, and recommended changes to service level(s). Contractor shall <br /> 1821 submit results of site assessments monthly, or upon request, provide copies of <br /> 1822 assessment data and recommendations for individual site assessments. <br /> 1823 F. Enclosure Specifications. Contractor shall work with the Agency to develop <br /> 1824 standard specifications for Collection Container enclosures at Multi - Family <br /> 1825 Residential Complexes and Commercial Premises to ensure that Container <br /> 1826 enclosures have adequate space and suitable configuration to allow the Contractor <br /> 1827 to safely and efficiently service the Containers. The enclosure specifications shall <br /> 1828 require provision of adequate space for Solid Waste, Targeted Recyclable <br /> 1829 Materials, and Organic Materials Collection Containers. Contractor shall provide <br /> 1830 the enclosure specifications to the Agency on or before the Effective Date and shall <br /> 1831 update as frequently as needed or as requested by Agency. <br /> 1832 G. Plan Review. Contractor shall review plans for land use or property developments, <br /> 1833 upon request of the Agency, to assess the adequacy of Container enclosure space <br /> 1834 allowances for Solid Waste, Recyclable Materials, and Organic Materials Collection <br /> 1835 Containers and the accessibility of Containers by Collection vehicles. The <br /> 1836 Contractor's review shall be completed by the Contractor's operations manager or <br /> 1837 route supervisor within ten (10) Business Days of request by Agency and receipt of <br /> 1838 the project design drawings. If site conditions warrant, the Contractor shall conduct <br /> 1839 a site visit of the proposed property to complete its evaluation. The Contractor's <br /> 1840 review shall be summarized in a letter report that states acceptability of the <br /> 1841 proposed enclosure arrangements or notes specific changes that are required to <br /> 1842 comply with the enclosure specification. The letter report shall be signed by the <br /> 1843 Person that conducted the review on behalf of the Contractor.
