Minimum allowable loading requirements for the Bin and Drop Box <br /> 2457 contents shall be approved by the Agency prior to purchase based on the <br /> 2458 minimum manufacturer's Toad limits, as specified in Attachment D. <br /> 2459 C. Container Labeling. Contractor shall label each Container with white, hot - stamped <br /> 2460 lettering, and in -mold or heavy duty vinyl adhesive labels with graphics, illustrations <br /> 2461 or artwork that clearly conveys the type of materials (e.g., Solid Waste, Recyclable <br /> 2462 Materials, cardboard, mixed paper, Organic Materials, wood waste, metal, etc.) to <br /> 2463 be placed in the Container for Collection. The labeling shall be positioned on each <br /> 2464 Container so it is visible to the Customer and Collection vehicle drivers on the front <br /> 2465 side and top. The labeling shall be durable and weather resistant to outdoor <br /> 2466 conditions and have a minimum ten (10) year lifetime. <br /> 2467 All Containers shall prominently display information and graphics agreed upon by <br /> 2468 Agency, SBWMA and Contractor pursuant to Article 7. <br /> 2469 Final Container labeling layout, graphics and text shall be approved by the Agency <br /> 2470 and SBWMA prior to distribution to Customers. <br /> 2471 D. Cleaning and Painting. Contractor shall be responsible for steam cleaning and <br /> 2472 repainting all Containers, except Carts, to present an aesthetically pleasing clean <br /> 2473 appearance and to ensure this equipment is safely maintained and operationally <br /> 2474 sound. Contractor shall repaint all used Containers within eighteen (18) months of <br /> 2475 the Commencement Date and thereafter on an as needed basis. Upon Customer's <br /> 2476 request, Contractor shall steam clean all Solid Waste and Recyclable Materials <br /> 2477 Containers (or exchange existing Containers with clean Containers) twice annually, <br /> 2478 except Carts provided to Residential Premises, which Contractor is not obligated to <br /> 2479 clean or exchange. Contractor shall clean all Organic Materials Containers (or <br /> 2480 exchange existing Containers with clean Containers) quarterly, except Carts <br /> 2481 provided to Residential Premises, which Contractor is not obligated to clean or <br /> 2482 exchange. Contractor shall offer additional cleaning (or clean Container exchange) <br /> 2483 to Customers requesting such service and shall be entitled to bill Customers for <br /> 2484 such cleaning (or Container exchange) as specified in Attachment Q. <br /> 2485 Contractor shall be responsible for cleaning Containers at no additional charge to <br /> 2486 Customer to ensure that nuisance or public health concerns associated with vectors <br /> 2487 are addressed within two (2) Business Days after receipt of notification of said <br /> 2488 condition. <br /> 2489 If any Container is impacted by graffiti, Contractor shall remedy the situation within <br /> 2490 forty -eight (48) hours of being notified. <br /> 2491 E. Repair and Replacement. Contractor shall repair or replace all Containers <br /> 2492 damaged by Collection operations (e.g., vehicle apparatus interface) within three (3) <br /> 2493 Business Days of being notified by Customer or observing the damaged Container. <br /> 2494 If the repair or replacement cannot be completed within three (3) Business Days, <br /> 2495 the Contractor shall notify Customer and provide a Container of the same size or <br /> 2496 larger until the original Container can be replaced. <br /> 2497 At no additional cost, Contractor shall replace Customer Carts that have been <br /> 2498 stolen, lost, damaged or destroyed within five (5) Business Days.
