• • <br /> 2413 shall provide the SBWMA and Agency with documentation of such compliance for <br /> 2414 each vehicle. For example, with regard to CARB regulations, such documentation <br /> 2415 shall demonstrate, at a minimum, the vehicle number, make, model, year, control <br /> 2416 technology used or planned, and the year that the control technology was applied or <br /> 2417 is planned to be applied. Contractor shall not load vehicles in excess of the <br /> 2418 manufacturer's recommendations or limitations imposed by federal, State, or local <br /> 2419 weight restrictions on vehicles or roads. <br /> 2420 Contractor equipment used for Solid Waste, Targeted Recyclable Materials, and <br /> 2421 Organic Materials services shall be registered with the California Department of <br /> 2422 Motor Vehicles. Equipment shall comply with US EPA noise emission regulations, <br /> 2423 currently codified at 40 CFR Part 205 and other applicable noise control regulations, <br /> 2424 and shall incorporate noise control features throughout the entire vehicle. <br /> 2425 Annually, Contractor shall have each Collection vehicle weighed at the Designated <br /> 2426 Transfer and Processing Facility to determine the unloaded weight ( "tare weight ") of <br /> 2427 the vehicle, and the total loaded weight of each load delivered to the Designated <br /> 2428 Transfer and Processing Facility. Upon a major repair that could affect the <br /> 2429 Collection vehicle tare weight, Contractor shall have the Collection vehicle re- <br /> 2430 weighed to establish a new tare weight. Contractor shall track and make <br /> 2431 adjustments to routes to eliminate ongoing over - weights associated with individual <br /> 2432 routes. <br /> 2433 8.05 CONTAINERS <br /> 2434 A. General. Contractor shall provide all Carts, Bins, Compactors, Kitchen Pails, and <br /> 2435 Drop Boxes, as appropriate, to all Customers as part of its obligations under this <br /> 2436 Agreement. Contractor shall ensure that Agency encroachment or other required <br /> 2437 permits are obtained by Customer prior to delivering Containers. As of the <br /> 2438 Commencement Date, all Single- Family Carts and Kitchen Pails must be new while <br /> 2439 other Containers may be used. Contractor - provided Containers shall be designed <br /> 2440 and constructed to be watertight and prevent the leakage of liquids. All Carts shall <br /> 2441 be manufactured by injection or rotational molding methods; contain post- consumer <br /> 2442 content; and meet the Cart design and performance requirements provided in <br /> 2443 Attachment D — Container Specifications. Carts provided to Customers shall have <br /> 2444 a useful life of ten (10) years as evidenced by a manufacturer's warranty or other <br /> 2445 documentation acceptable to the Agency. <br /> 2446 All Containers with a capacity of one (1) cubic yard or more shall meet applicable <br /> 2447 federal, State, and local regulations for Bin safety; shall be covered with attached <br /> 2448 lids; and shall have the capability to be locked if required or requested by Customer <br /> 2449 or Agency. <br /> 2450 All Containers shall be maintained in a safe, serviceable, and functional condition. <br /> 2451 B. Container Specifications <br /> 2452 1. Sizes. The Container sizes to be provided to Single - Family, Multi - Family, <br /> 2453 Commercial, and Agency Facility Customers are specified in Attachment D. <br /> 2454 2. Color.
