· a replacement dwelling (including incidental expenses described <br /> herein). If such a~ount exceeds $2,000, the displaced person <br /> shall equally match any such amount in excess of $2,000 in <br /> making the downpayment. <br /> <br /> 19.2 Eligibility. A displaced person is eligible for the payments specified <br /> in subsection 19.1 if he satisfies the following conditions: <br /> 19.21 Has occupied the dwelling from which he is displaced for a <br /> <br /> period of not less than 90 days prior to the initiation of <br /> negotiations for acquisition of such dwelling. <br /> <br /> 19.22 Is not eligible to receive a replacement housing payment for <br /> homeowners or elects not to receive such payment. Where the <br /> displaced person is the owner/occupant of the dwelling, the <br /> payment made under subsection 19.12 shall not exceed the <br /> amount of payment to which the person would be eligible under <br /> section 18. <br /> <br /> 19.23 Whenever a payment under subsection 19.12 is sought, the dis- <br /> placed person shall within one year from the date of displace- <br /> ment purchase and occupy a replacement dwelling. <br /> <br /> 19.3 Computation of Payment <br /> <br /> 19.31 Rental Assistance Payments. The amount of payment necessary. <br /> to lease or rent a comparable replacement dwelling, under sub- <br /> section 19.11 shall be computed by subtracting 48 times the <br /> base'monthly rental from a comparable replacement dwelling <br /> (as determined in accordance with this subsection)~ Provided, <br /> that in no case may such amount exceed the difference between <br /> 48 times the base monthly rental as determined in accordance <br /> with this subsection and 48 times the monthly rental actually <br /> required for the replacement dwelling occupied by 'the displaced <br /> person. <br /> <br /> <br />
