I <br /> 6.1 E <br /> Page 12 <br /> EXHIBIT "A" <br /> SCOPE OF SERVICES <br /> PROJECT SUMMARY <br /> As a key partner in the LIBRE Project, Legal Aid Society will provide a designated staff <br /> , attorney to prepare and deliver educational presentations related to immigrant rights to <br /> safety net service providers in San Mateo County and to community members. Legal <br /> Aid will develop and print written material to support these educational presentations. <br /> Legal Aid will also provide legal services to immigrants who encounter barriers to <br /> accessing safety net services to which they are entitled. <br /> In addition, Legal Aid will serve on the LIBRE Steering Committee, which oversees the <br /> design and implementation of the LIBRE grant. <br /> Funding from the Grove Foundation will be used to support this contract <br /> ➢ Legal Aid Society of San Mateo County Staffing -$75,000 <br /> ➢ Steering Committee Participation - $5,000 <br /> ➢ LIBRE Document Printing Costs - $1,000 <br /> Total Contract Amount: $ 81,000 <br /> PAYMENT AND REPORTING <br /> Legal Aid Society of San Mateo County will provide detailed invoices, with evidence of <br /> progress in achieving defined deliverables, when requesting payment. <br /> The contract will be paid in two installments: <br /> • first installment to be invoiced by December 1, 2010 <br /> • second installment to be invoiced by March 31, 2011 <br /> ATTY/AGR/2010.131 � � <br /> 112410 <br />
