i. Pay the following to Public Allies Silicon Valley /San <br /> Francisco: a contribution of $15,777.00 per Ally. <br /> ii. Permit each Ally to participate in the AmeriCorps approved <br /> health insurance plan, <br /> iii. Accept from Public Allies Silicon Valley /San Francisco <br /> information regarding potential Allies, evaluate their suitability for the Position in good <br /> faith and, after evaluating a reasonable number of Allies, use its best efforts to select an <br /> AIIy for the Position for the Term; <br /> iv. For so long as AIIy remains with Partner Organization, permit <br /> Ally to attend, with full compensation; off -site training for one business day every week <br /> of the Term as well as other AmeriCorps or other Public .Allies Silicon Valley /San <br /> Francisco required events, including, but not limited to core, mid -year and year -end <br /> retreats as outlined on the program year calendar; <br /> v. If applicable, share organizational resources (contacts, <br /> information, documents, etc.) in good faith to help Ally's work on apprentices' team <br /> service project ( "Project "), which is focused on community service and improvement in <br /> partnership with community -based organization(s), and which would otherwise be <br /> available pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act; <br /> vi. Provide Public Allies Silicon Valley /San Francisco with a <br /> clear position description for the Position during Partner Organization's matching or <br /> placement process; <br /> vii. Use the agreed upon position description in providing initial <br /> orientation to the AIIy during his /her first week at the partner organization <br /> viii. Facilitate Ally's Supervisor or functional equivalent <br /> ("Supervisor') in his /her effort to provide guidance for AIIy in fulfilling duties of the <br /> Position and use its best efforts, with the aid of Public Allies Silicon Valley /San <br /> Francisco, to give necessary skills training applicable to the Position; <br /> ix. Ensure that Supervisor attends four supervisor meetings <br /> (including Partner Organization Orientation) and complete all required Public Allies <br /> Silicon Valley /San Francisco paperwork in a timely manner; and <br /> x. Use its best efforts to retain AIIy for the Term, even in the <br /> event of disputes, in which case, Partner Organization shall seek the assistance of <br /> Public Allies Silicon Valley /San Francisco as described in Section III(N). <br /> 11. Payment Schedule. <br /> A. Partner Organization will contribute the sum of $5,259.00 on the <br /> first day of the second, fourth, and seventh months of the program, which begins on <br /> September 1, 2010 and goes until June 30, 2011 <br /> p g .
