Mary Trail <br /> Reviewed By: Tom Gorman <br /> Subject: Redwood City Recycled Water Project <br /> Customer Site Retrofit & Program Support Services <br /> Scope and Budget Augmentation for Customer Site Retrofit & Extension of <br /> Contract to Serve Homeowners Associations (HOA's) <br /> [Contract Amendment 4J <br /> K/J 0468025 <br /> This memorandum provides a scope and budget for the extension and augmentation of the <br /> Recycled Water Customer Retrofit and Program Support Services project in Redwood City ("the <br /> City"). This work will be performed under the existing Agreement for Professional Services. <br /> Introduction <br /> Kennedy/Jenks is currently under contract with Redwood City to provide Customer Retrofit and <br /> Program Support Services for implementation of a recycled water project (City Purchase Order <br /> # 46141). The original scope of services developed in August 2004 was based on the following <br /> assumptions: <br /> • K/J would provide design services for 57 irrigation sites with one meter per site. <br /> • K/J would provide bidding and construction management service for one retrofit group <br /> bid. <br /> • No retrofit support would be needed for non-irrigation sites. <br /> • Limited Program Suppo�t Services would be needed after the completion of the 2005 <br /> Non-Irrigation Market Assessment <br /> • The project schedule was August 2004 through December 2007 <br /> In 2008, the scope of services was amended as follows: <br /> • Expand the scope to accommodate sites with multiple irr'gation meters, to upgrade the <br /> retrofit of First Step customers, and to retrofit up to ten residential sites. <br /> � Expand the scope to accommodate construction management services for four <br /> additional r�rofit group bids. <br /> • Expand the scope to accommodate additional Program Suppo�t Services, such as Task <br /> Force Updates, maintaining the market assessment up-to-date, updating GIS figures, <br /> and grant s�uppo�t. <br /> p�pwyrp12004N468025 �wa recyded reUOGI d suppal swllaek Ot prq mpmtlpaeG memo�prqecl memo & scope revisiaulccope rev 7- retrofi� pro�ect ex�ensan & a,�gmenlaoon.da <br />
