Containers for recyclables and containers for yard trimmings may be placed at the location designated by the City and the refuse - collector :11 by tho City and thc refuse sollcctor only after twelve o'c eon on the day preceding the scheduled collection. C. Containers may be placed curbside or street side so as to be readily accessible for removing and emptying by the refuse collector only between twelve o'clock (12:00) noon on the day preceding the scheduled collection and twelve o'clock (12:00) noon on the day immediately following the collection of refuse. SECTION 3. Sections 14.25 of the Municipal Code of the City of Redwood City are amended, by adding the text shown in bold italics (example) and deleting the text shown in strikeout (example), as follows: Sec. 14.25. TIME OF COLLECTIONS: The time of collections of refuse in residential areas shall be between the hours of six o'clock (6:00) A.M. and six o'clock (6:00) P.M., exclusive of Holidays in thc residential areas - • - - e - - - - - -' - - - e :! A.M. in the business district. The time of collections of refuse in Commercial areas shall be between the hours of three o'clock (3 :00) A.M. and six o'clock (6:00) P.M. on weekdays and on weekends between 6:00 a.m. and 5 :00 p.m. exclusive of Holidays. SECTION 4. Sections 14.7 and 14.8 of the Redwood City Municipal Code are hereby repealed. SECTION 5. This ordinance shall be effective thirty (30) days from the date of passage thereof.
