Council. (Copies of League of California Cities Priority Focus available in City Clerk's <br />Department). <br />Council Member Pierce — stated that on May 15, she along with Council Members <br />Howard and Ruskin participated in Sacramento with over 1,000 city officials and staff <br />to lobby on behalf of the citizens to keep local assets local. She stated that the process <br />was done in an effective way and there was a resolution passed for the League of <br />California Cities that sets parameters for discussion with State legislators. <br />Council Member Howard — stated that it there was a powerful impact felt in <br />Sacramento. She explained the Vehicle License Fee concern that was addressed and <br />that long term structural and fiscal reform was stressed to the legislators. <br />8. ADJOURNMENT— 10:00 p.m. <br />M/S Howard /Hartnett to to adjourn until the next City Council meeting of June 2, 2003. <br />The motion passed by a unanimous voice vote by those present. <br />Respectfully submitted, <br />Patricia S.
