6.4A <br /> Page 3 <br /> WASTE MATTER: Shall mean and be held to include crockery, , <br /> metal - vessels, ashes, shells, plaster, brickbats and all other noncombustible <br /> materials. <br /> SECTION 2. Sections 14.13 and 14.15 of the Municipal Code of the City of <br /> Redwood City are amended, by adding the text shown in bold italics (example) <br /> and deleting the text shown in strikeout (example), as follows: <br /> Sec. 14.13. DUTY TO KEEP SANITARY; REMOVAL OF COVERS; <br /> TYPE OF COVERS: <br /> Gansu Containers for garbage, recyclables and organic materials or <br /> shall be kept in a sanitary condition by the owners thereof <br /> and the covers shall not be removed or left open except for the purpose <br /> of placing refuse therein or removing refuse therefrom, and shall at all <br /> times be proof against access of flies to the contents thereof. <br /> Sec. 14.15. PLACEMENT OF CONTAINERS OF GARBAGE, <br /> RECEPTACLE, CONTAINER FOR RECYCLABLES, CORRUGATED <br /> - - - AND ORGANIC MATERIALS <br /> FOR COLLECTION: <br /> A. Every person in possession, charge, or control of any premises <br /> shall provide a sufficient number of containers of sufficient <br /> capacity to hold all garbage, recyclables, and organic materials <br /> which are created, produced, or accumulated on such premises <br /> between the times of successive collections by the collector. <br /> B. Containers shall be placed curbside or street side in a manner <br /> that does not block any driveway, sidewalk or street, or impede <br /> pedestrian or vehicular traffic or sight lines.
