Citv Services: City agrees to provide the following requested services: <br />(a) Normal police patrols during the event. <br />(b) Post notification signs that the parking lot will be closed from 6:00 p.m. <br />on July 3, 2003, until 5:00 a.m. on July 7, 2003. <br />(c) Deliver barricades for the parking lot. <br />11. Miscellaneous and Additional Matters: It is further agreed that the <br />following miscellaneous concerns and services shall be the sole <br />responsibility of Permittee, coordinated and approved by the Police Chief or <br />his designee: <br />(a) Information bulletins will be placed on all vehicles in the lot indicating the <br />lot closure. The placement of the flyers will occur on Monday, June 23, 2003 <br />and Thursday, June 26, 2003. The flyers are to indicate the following: "This <br />parking lot will be closed from 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 3, 2003, through <br />5:00 a.m., Monday, July 7, 2003, to accommodate the Woodside Terrace <br />A.M. Kiwanis Club Carnival. We apologize for any inconvenience. If you <br />have any questions, please call the Redwood City Police Department at 650- <br />780- 7186." <br />(b) Flyers will be distributed the week of June 23, 2003, to all businesses in <br />the Sequoia Station Shopping Center, the 800 & 900 blocks of Middlefield <br />Road, the 800 block of Winslow Street, the 800 block of Hamilton Street, the <br />800 block of Jefferson Avenue, and the 2100 — 2400 blocks of Broadway. <br />The flyer is to indicate the following: "The municipal parking lot located on <br />Middlefield Road at Winslow Street will be closed from 6:00 p.m. on <br />Thursday, July 3, 2003, through 5:00 a.m., Monday, July 7, 2003, to <br />accommodate the Woodside Terrace A.M. Kiwanis Club Carnival. We <br />apologize for any inconvenience. If you have any questions, please call the <br />Redwood City Police Department at 650 - 780 - 7186." <br />(c) Provisions shall be made to prevent the encroachment upon the parking <br />lot of 928 Middlefield Road, Los Potrillos Restaurant. <br />(d) Adequate (minimum of eight), temporary restroom facilities to be <br />provided and serviced during the event at no cost to City. <br />(e) Erect and remove barricades provided by the City. <br />(f) Periodic trash clean -up during the event and the continued availability of <br />trash containers and bins throughout the carnival area. <br />
