4,1 D -5 10. Citv Services: City agrees to provide the following requested services: (a) Normal police patrols during the event. (b) Post notification signs that the parking lot will be closed from 6:00 p.m. on July 3, 2003, until 5:00 a.m. on July 7, 2003. (c) Deliver barricades for the parking lot. 11. Miscellaneous and Additional Matters: It is further agreed that the following miscellaneous concerns and services shall be the sole responsibility of Permittee, coordinated and approved by the Police Chief or his designee: (a) Information bulletins will be placed on all vehicles in the lot indicating the lot closure. The placement of the flyers will occur on Monday, June 23, 2003 and Thursday, June 26, 2003. The flyers are to indicate the following: "This parking lot will be closed from 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 3, 2003, through 5:00 a.m., Monday, July 7, 2003, to accommodate the Woodside Terrace A.M. Kiwanis Club Carnival. We apologize for any inconvenience. If you have any questions, please call the Redwood City Police Department at 650- 780- 7186." (b) Flyers will be distributed the week of June 23, 2003, to all businesses in the Sequoia Station Shopping Center, the 800 & 900 blocks of Middlefield Road, the 800 block of Winslow Street, the 800 block of Hamilton Street, the 800 block of Jefferson Avenue, and the 2100 — 2400 blocks of Broadway. The flyer is to indicate the following: "The municipal parking lot located on Middlefield Road at Winslow Street will be closed from 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 3, 2003, through 5:00 a.m., Monday, July 7, 2003, to accommodate the Woodside Terrace A.M. Kiwanis Club Carnival. We apologize for any inconvenience. If you have any questions, please call the Redwood City Police Department at 650 - 780 - 7186." (c) Provisions shall be made to prevent the encroachment upon the parking lot of 928 Middlefield Road, Los Potrillos Restaurant. (d) Adequate (minimum of eight), temporary restroom facilities to be provided and serviced during the event at no cost to City. (e) Erect and remove barricades provided by the City. (f) Periodic trash clean -up during the event and the continued availability of trash containers and bins throughout the carnival area.
