Box 2745 c n ; i d ,� <br />Redwood City, CA. 94064 o f t h e o r I 'd t <br />,+► 4 <br />Mav 29, 2003 <br />Sergeant Ea Hernandez <br />Redwood City Police Dpet. <br />1301 Maple Street <br />Redwood City, CA. 94063 <br />RE: Woodside Terrace AM Kiwanis Club 4' of July Carnival <br />Dear Sergeant Hernandez: <br />As in prior years, the Woodside Terrace AM Kiwanis Club would like to apply for a letter permit <br />from the City Council to operate a carnival in the city owned parking lot on Middlefield just <br />north of Jefferson. <br />Once again we have contracted with Butler Amusements to set up and run the carnival rides. <br />Butler Amusement would like to start setting up the evening of Thursday, July 3, 2003 (after 6:00 <br />P.M.) And break down the carnival on the evening of Sunday, July 6, 2003. The carnival would <br />run three days -from Friday, July 4 through Sunday, July 6, 2003 and the lot would be completely <br />cleaned by 5: A.M. on Monday, July 7, 2003. <br />We would be happy to abide by the agreements made in last year's permit and ask that you <br />present our request to the City Council. <br />If you need clarification or any additional information, you may contact either one of our Co- <br />Chairman, Larry Graves at (650) 364 -9383 or Harry Tong at (650)357 -7628. <br />Thanks for your assistance. <br />Sincerely, <br />i <br />Harry W.
