Minor storm <br /> drain improvements would be made to the existing culvert and ditch to improve drainage. <br /> It is not anticipated that any resource agency permits would be needed to perform the work. The City <br /> would perform any needed environmental clearance work and obtain any permits, if needed. It is oiir <br /> understanding that the estimated construction budget available for repairing these three sites is <br /> approximately $100,000. <br /> SCOPE.OF PROPOSED CIVIL DESIGN SERVICES <br /> MTCo will provide Civil Engineering Design Services for the project as follows: <br /> 1) Site Reconnaissance <br /> MTCo Will make site visits and take hand measurements to determine approximate limits and <br /> extent of site work. All proposed repairs will be based on above ground visual inspections only. <br /> Topographic survey, geotechnioal investigations, groundwater investigations, and any other <br /> type of technical studies would not be performed. The City will provide an as- built topo map of <br /> the park area and existing roads. This will be used as the base for developing the proposed <br /> repair plans. <br /> 2) Construction Plans and Technical Specifications <br /> MTCo will develop draft and final construction plans and details for guiding construction at <br /> each of the three locations. Structural calculations will be completed to develop approxuriate <br /> retaining wall sizing and details. Plans will show approximate locations, dimensions, cross <br /> sections, and construction devils stiffioient for contractor bidding and construction. Exact <br /> locations and limits of improvements will be determined during construction by the City or its <br /> designee. MTCo will provide draft and final technical specifications for the primary work items <br /> proposed. The City will develop the final construction bid documents. <br /> WORK NOT INCLUDED IN PROPOSED DESIGN.SERVICES <br /> The following work is NOT included in this proposal: <br /> • Site topographic survey <br /> • Geotecluucal study <br /> • Environmental clearance <br /> • Resource agency permitting <br /> • Constriction bid documents <br /> • Construction support <br />
