A. Liquidated damages, for the period of time that any portion of the work remains <br /> unfinished after the time fixed for completion in the Contract Documents, as <br /> modified by extensions of time granted by the Owner, it is understood as agreed <br /> by the Contractor and the Owner that the contractor shall pay the Owner Five <br /> Hundred and No /100 Dollars ($500.00) per day liquidated damages. <br /> VII. WORK COVERED UNDER THIS CONTRACT <br /> A. Notification of area businesses <br /> B. Traffic control <br /> C. Removal of trees, fence, weeds, trash, and debris <br /> D. Clear and Grub site <br /> E. Installation of river rock <br /> F. Conduit for lighting <br /> G. Forestry waste mulch <br /> H. Daily site cleanup <br /> I. The work shall include the provision of all materials, equipment and apparatus <br /> not specifically mentioned in the specifications, but which are obviously <br /> necessary to complete the work thereunder. <br /> VIII. PROGRESS CLEANING <br /> A. Contractor shall perform periodic cleaning to ensure that any streets and other <br /> City and public properties are maintained free from accumulation of waste <br /> materials, dust, mud, debris. <br /> B. Contractor shall keep paved roads clean and free of construction dust, mud, and <br /> debris. Daily cleanup throughout the job will be necessary, with extra attention to <br /> cleanup being made prior to weekends and holidays. Contractor shall be <br /> responsible for removing construction debris resulting from the work. <br /> C. If contractor does not properly clean the site, in the opinion of the City, the City <br /> shall have the option of using outside equipment to perform the cleanup and <br /> such cost will be withheld from the contract sum. <br /> IX. MEASUREMENT & PAYMENT <br /> MOBILIZATION, NOTIFICATIONS, AND TRAFFIC CONTROL <br /> A. Full compensation for all mobilization consisting of preparatory work and <br /> operations, including but not limited to, those necessary for the movement of <br /> personnel, equipment, supplies, and incidentals to the project site, traffic control <br />
