• Responsibilities of Others 1.0 Client shall provide Civil and Electrical design drawings for Pump Station 10. The priority for electrical drawings is control schematics, P &IDs, single line diagrams, and the Nova Controls PLC SCADA Cabinet design. Additionally we will need copies of correspondence, service reports, O& M Manuals, and maintenance records. 2.0 The quality and detail of information provided by the City will impact our ability to assess operational intent of the original design. If the documentation is inadequate, we may need additional hours to develop as- built drawings. If necessary, DLT &V can provide these services for an additional fee. 3.0 CLIENT shall provide PLC program code for all PLCs at Pump Station 10. If PLCs are other than Allen Bradley or Modicon, Client shall provide development software for those PLCs 4.0 CLIENT shall provide responses to DLT &V for questions regarding the operation of Pump Station 10 in a timely manner to avoid schedule delays. 5.0 CLIENT shall provide free access to all equipment at Pump Station 10 such that DLT &V can collect sufficient data to determine causes of reliability issues. Deliverables 1.0 DLT &V will provide CLIENT with a 100% report in electronic format. Any additional submittal requirements and report changes requested by the CLIENT that are not included herein maybe considered beyond the scope and fee of this proposal. Exclusions and Exceptions 1.0 DLT &V will not obtain any permits. 2.0 The report issued to the City may include minor design modification recommendations. If the assessment and analysis of reliability issues determines that major design flaws exist in the pump station design, the report will recommend a major re- design of the lift station. The effort required to perform a major re- design is not included in this scope of work. 3.0 Document quantities identified in the attached Proposal Worksheet are estimates and at no time are intended to quantify work which will be performed. The aforementioned scope of services and level of effort is limited to the hours detailed on the attached Proposal Worksheets. Costs incurred due to conditions beyond DLT &V's control may result in additional charges billed on a Time and Material basis. 4.0 This fee proposal is based on DLT &V standards. The report will be prepared following DLT &V drafting and CAD standards, and text document formatting. If significant changes to the DLT &V standards are required, DLT &V reserves the right to request additional time and fees to convert to a new set of standards. 5.0 DLT &V will not be responsible for purchasing hardware or software under this proposal. 6.0 Should a condition exist, at no fault of DLT &V, that interrupts or prevents DLT &V from providing contracted services, DLT &V may cease work until the condition(s) are remedied. At the client's request, DLT &V may provide assistance to remedy the delaying condition(s), charged on a time and materials basis. 7.0 Excessive work interruption(s) by others that delay the provision of contracted services by DLT &V may result in additional service charges billed on a time and materials basis. 2010.11.1427 Redwood City Station 10 -Rev1 eonfldenHn} Summary Page 5 of 7
