EXHIBIT A SPECIAL CONDITIONS OF THE SITE HOURS OF WORK A. Working hours shall be from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday, excluding City Holidays or unless otherwise approved in advance by the City. II. PLANS A. Those certain plans entitled CITY HALL AUDIOVISUAL NEW AIR CONDITONING UNIT consisting of five (5) sheets, are hereby made a part of this contract. B. The City's Standard Specifications and Details. C. The following codes and shall be made part of this contract: • 2010 California Building Code • 2010 California Electrical Code • 2010 California Plumbing Code • 2010 California Mechanical Code III. TIME OF COMPLETION, INSURANCE & BONDS A. Time of completion shall be thirty (30) calendar days from the Notice to Proceed. B. The contractor shall submit a certificate of insurance showing comprehensive general liability, auto liability, worker's compensation and employer's liability insurance coverages for the amounts specified in Section 8 of the city's standard Agreement. Such certificate shall also name the City of Redwood City, its council, commissions, boards, committees, officers, employees, and agents as additional insured on the policy as shown in Section 8 of the city's standard Agreement. C. Bonds shall be required for this project as specified in Section 9 of the city's standard Agreement. Please see Standard Bond Attachments C & D. Other bond forms may be used, subject to approval prior to the start of work. IV. DAMAGES FOR DELAYS A. Liquidated damages, for the period of time that any portion of the work remains unfinished after the time fixed for completion in the Contract Documents, as modified by extensions of time granted by the Owner, it is understood as agreed by the Contractor and the Owner that the contractor shall pay the Owner Five hundred and 00/100 Dollars ($500.00) per day liquidated damages.
