V. MEASUREMENT & PAYMENT <br /> 1. MOBILIZATION & DEMOLITION <br /> A. Full compensation for all mobilization and demobilization, and <br /> demolition measures, including labor, materials, tools, and equipment <br /> required as necessary will be paid in the lump sum price for <br /> MOBILIZATION AND DEMOLITION. Included in this bid item is the <br /> requirement to submit five copies of material or equipment shop <br /> drawings, submittals; and operational and maintenance manuals. <br /> B. Contractor is to protect the existing structure and landscaping to the full <br /> extent possible. Full compensation for restoring damaged structures, <br /> landscaping, and other incidentals related to the completion of the <br /> project shall be included in the lump sum price paid for this bid item. <br /> C. Full compensation for all required demolition work, inclusive of area <br /> separation, dust barriers, tile removal, wall / wall framing modifications, <br /> minor carpentry demolition, debris off - hauling, general site cleanup and <br /> preparation for specified improvements, as shown and noted, shall be <br /> included in this bid item. <br /> 2. NEW AIR CONDITIONING UNIT IN AUDIONISUAL ROOM IN CITY HALL <br /> A. Full compensation will be paid for providing all the required work done <br /> at the contract lump sum price for the new 2 -ton air conditioning unit <br /> including any repairs required to existing improvements under this bid <br /> item. <br /> B. Work shall be inclusive of all work required for furnishing and installing <br /> the new air conditioning unit, as called for in the documents. This shall <br /> also be inclusive of providing the required Seismic Design and review <br /> by a Registered Professional Engineer. <br /> 3. FURNISH AND INSTALL NEW MECHANICAL DUCT WORK <br /> A. Full compensation will be paid for providing all the required work done <br /> at the contract lump sum price for furnishing and installing new <br /> mechanical duct work to support the new 2 ton air conditioning unit as <br /> shown on the plans. <br /> B. Under this bid item, all work for furnishing and installing new <br /> mechanical duct work as shown and noted, shall be provided. This <br /> shall be inclusive of the required seismic restraints, condensate drain <br /> lines, hangers, and other noted hardware and appurtenances that are <br /> associated with this work. The painting and finishes for this are as also <br /> included under this bid item. The city will provide the Kelly Moore paint <br /> numbers to be used / provided by the Contractor. <br />
