• <br /> voi 1S9re] PAGE 195 <br /> of a street or alley, adjacent to or in the proposed subdivision, the <br /> data shall be shown on the final neap indicating all monuments found and <br /> =king reference to a filed book or map. If the points were reset by <br /> ties, that fact shall be stated. <br /> 4.26 The map shall show the location and description of all monu- <br /> ments found in raking the survey of the subdivisions. All old monuments <br /> on previous subdivisions shall be located, identified and shown on the <br /> final map, and a notation Trade as to each monument shown on previous <br /> recorded subdivision maps but not found or not in original position. <br /> Distances and direction off true position as reestablished shall be shown. <br /> 14.29 In addition, the final map shall be prepared in full compli- <br /> ance with the following requirements: <br /> (a) The map shall show the line of high water in case the subdivi- <br /> sion is adjacent to a stream and/or the areas subject to periodic inun- <br /> dation by flood waters. <br /> (b) The boundary of the tract shall be designated by a red border <br /> applied to the reverse side of the tracing and on the face of the blue <br /> line prints. Such border shall not interfere with the legibility of <br /> figures or other data. <br /> (c) Streets and other Riehtseof47ay. The nap shall show the <br /> •center and side lines of all streets, the total width of all streets, <br /> the width of the portion being dedicated and the width of existing dedi- <br /> cations, and the widths each side of the center line, also the width of <br /> railroad rights-of--way appearing on the nap. Bearings and lengths of <br /> all street property lines and center lines shall be shown. <br /> (d) The map shall show the side lines of all easements to which <br /> the lots are subject. The easements must be clearly labeled and iden- <br /> tified and if already of record, its recorded reference given. If any <br /> easement is not definitely located of record, a statement of such ease- <br /> ment must appear on the title sheet. Easements for storm drains, sewers <br /> and other purposes shall be denoted by fine dotted lines. Building <br /> lines shall be indicated by dotted lines of the same width as the lines <br /> denoting street boundaries. The width of the easement and the lengths <br /> and bearings of the lines thereof and sufficient ties thereto to def- <br /> initely locate the easement with respect to the subdivision must be <br /> shown. If the easement is being dedicated by the map, it shall be <br /> properly set out in the owner's certificate of dedication. <br /> (e) City boundary lines crossing or abutting the subdivision <br /> shall be clearly designated and referenced. All city boundary lines <br /> shall follow lot line. <br /> (f) Lot numbers shall begin with number "1" in each block and <br /> shall continue consecutively through the block with no omissions or <br /> duplications. <br /> (g) Block numbers shall begin with the number "1" or letter "A" <br /> continuing consecutively without omission or, duplication throughout the <br /> subdivision. The numbers or letters shall be solid and Of sufficient <br /> size and thickness to stand out, shall be so placed as not to obliterate <br /> any figure and shall not be enclosed in any design. Each block in its <br /> entirety shall be shown on one sheet. there adjoining blocks appear on <br /> separate sheets, the street adjoining both blocks shall be shown on both <br /> sheets complete with center line and property line data. <br /> (h) The nap shall also show all other data that is or nay be <br /> required by law. <br /> (i) The final map shall particularly define, delineate and desig- <br /> nate all lots intended for sale or reserved for private purposes, all <br /> parcels offered for dedication for any purpose, public or private, and <br /> any private streets permitted under the provisions of Section 1 of this <br /> Ordinance, with all dimensions, boundaries and courses clearly shown <br /> and defined in every ease. parcels offered for dedication, but not <br /> 5 <br />
