RD-88-15 <br /> 0R G N^L <br /> RESOLUTION OF THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF <br /> REDWOOD CITY ESTABLISHING OBJECTIVES, CRITERIA AND <br /> PROCEDURES FOR ADMINISTERING ITS RESPONSIBILITIES UNDER <br /> THE CALIFORNIA ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY ACT <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the California Environmental Quality Act of 1970, <br />as amended, ("CEQA") and its implementing Guidelines, as adopted <br />and amended, (~15000, et seq., California Administrative Code, <br />"the State CEQA Guidelines") require each public agency to adopt <br />objectives, criteria, and specific procedures consistent with <br />CEQA and the State CEQA Guidelines for administering its <br />responsibilities under CEQA; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, CEQA and the State CEQA Guidelines (~15022(b), <br />California Administrative Code) provide that any district need <br />not adopt objectives, criteria, and procedures of its own if it <br />uses the objectives, criteria, and procedures of another public <br />agency whose boundaries are coterminous with or entirely <br />encompass the district; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the boundaries of this Agency are coterminous with <br />the boundaries of the City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has adopted objectives, <br />criteria, and specific procedures ("City CEQA Guidelines") as <br />required by CEQA and the State CEQA Guidelines; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, for economy and efficiency, the Community <br />Redevelopment Law (~33000, et seq., Health and Safety Code) <br />authorizes and encourages redevelopment agencies to utilize the <br />resources and facilities of the communities in which they <br />function; <br /> <br /> 1 RD 88-15 <br /> <br /> <br />
