The purpose of these guidelines is to <br /> implement the Prevailing Wage Policy of the Redevelopment Agency <br /> of the City of Redwood City, which policy shall control in the <br /> event of any inconsistency with or ambiguity in these guidelines. <br /> <br /> 2. WAGE DETERMINATIONS; POSTING. The project developer <br /> will provide the Contract Compliance Liaison ("CCL") a scope of <br /> work of sufficient detail so that the CCL can determine job <br /> classifications to be requested. If the developer's contractor <br /> or a subcontractor wishes to use a class other than one provided <br /> by the California Department of Industrial Relations ("DIR") in <br /> the wage decision issued, the CCL shall make a request to DIR and <br /> the contractor or subcontractor will use an appropriate class as <br /> determined by DIR or the Agency. The Agency will request a wage <br /> determination from DIR for each project. <br /> <br /> Wage decisions must be posted at the job site, available for <br /> review by all employees and must remain posted for the duration <br /> of the project. <br /> <br /> 3. PRECONSTRUCTION REQUIREMENTS. The Contractor shall <br /> provide a list of subcontractors, contact persons for each <br /> subcontractor, and addresses, phone numbers and contractor <br /> license number for each. A preconstruction conference will be <br /> held by the CCL prior to the developer's execution of the <br /> agreement with the Agency. The Contractor and subcontractors <br /> will be instructed on how to complete certified payrolls and be <br /> <br /> <br />
