Ascent Environmental, Inc. Subconsultant Agreement with Hauge Brueck Associates, LLC for the Saltworks Project <br /> The peer review will evaluate the contents of the technical reports; including the settings, environmental <br /> criteria, methodology and analysis to determine that the appropriate information, analysis, and <br /> methodology will be applied. Ascent will evaluate quantitative environmental criteria from the existing <br /> City criteria merged with those recently adopted by the Bay Area Air Quality Management District and <br /> evaluate the aforementioned information to determine that the appropriate analysis tools will be applied in <br /> assessing impacts of the proposed project. Ascent will identify any data gaps that need to be filled to <br /> complete the EIR environmental evaluation and will coordinate with Sierra Research to avoid duplication <br /> of work. <br /> Task 6 Project Scoping #1 <br /> Task 6.4 Conduct Scoping Meetings <br /> Ascent staff will participate in the planning and presentation of GHG- related information at the assigned <br /> scoping meeting. Ascent will prepare information on the state of the science, key issues, and introductory <br /> information on the topic of GHGs (and adaptation) for use in development of the display board (s). The <br /> information will be designed to communicate the complexities surrounding these topics and review <br /> process into clear language understandable by the general public. This task includes Ascent's preparation, <br /> travel, and the participation of one staff at the February 23 Scoping Meeting. <br /> Task 6.5 Scoping Report <br /> Ascent shall review the administrative draft scoping report. Ascent shall provide a memo, in coordination <br /> with Sierra Research, to HBA documenting their findings and recommendations related to climate <br /> change, energy, and air quality prior to completion of the scoping report. <br /> Saltworks Project Task Order No. 001 Page 4 <br />
