Z 12 . Paragraph 10.5 is hereby added to Resolution No. 6882 to read as follows : "10. 5 Notice of Exemption. Upon a determination that a project is exempt from the requirements of CEQA because it is an emergency project, a ministerial project, or categori- cally exempt, and the officer or agency of the City having the authority to approve or determine to carry out the project does so approve or determine to carry out the project, the Planning Director may file notice of such exemption with the County Clerk, County of San Mateo, or the County Clerk of the County in which the project will be located, in accordance with the provisions of Section 21152 (b) of the Public Resources Code and Section 15074 of the California Adminstrative Code. In the event an applicant desires to file a notice of exemption in accordance with the provisions of Section 15074 (b) of the California Administrative Code, the Planning Director shall prepare and certify a statement evidencing such exemption. " 13 . Paragraph 11. 5 is hereby added to Resolution No. 6882 to read as follows: "11 . 5 Responsible Agency. In every instance where the City is designated a responsible agency for a proposed project, the officer or agency of the City having final responsibility for approval or disapproval of the project, or having the authority to undertake the project, shall be responsible for considering only the significant effects of those activities which such officer or agency is required by law to carry out or approve , and which are involved in the project for which a lead agency has prepared an EIR. " 14. Exhibit A (entitled, "Exhibit A - Administrative Code §S15101-15112" ) of Resolution No. 6882 is hereby deleted and rescinded from said Resolution. • -19-
