410 41 <br /> 3 . The City Council hereby determines that the public <br /> convenience and necessity requires the reservation and exception <br /> of the easements for public utility purposes as described in <br /> paragraph 2 above, and hereby declares that all proceedings taken <br /> hereunder shall be subject to such reservations and exceptions . <br /> 4 . Notice is hereby given that Monday, April. 23, 1973 <br /> at the hour of 7 :30 o' clock P.M. , in the Veterans Memorial Building, <br /> 1455 Madison Avenue, Redwood City, California, is the time and <br /> place set for hearing all persons interested in or objecting to <br /> the proposed vacation. <br /> 5. The City Clerk is hereby directed to cause notice of <br /> the proposed vacation to be made in accordance with the provisions <br /> of Section 8322 of the Streets and Highways Code, and to cause <br /> publication of this resolution to be made in the same manner as <br /> ordinances of the City of Redwood City. <br /> 6. Resolution No. 6880 entitled "Resolution of Intention to <br /> Abandon Portion of Public Street in Accordance with Part 3 of <br /> Division 9, Streets and Highways Code of the State of California; <br /> Setting Time and Place for Hearing All Persons Interested in or <br /> Objecting to the Proposed Vacation; and Ordering Posting of Notice <br /> of Such Proposed Vacation, " adopted March 19, 1973, by this Council <br /> is hereby repealed upon adoption of this resolution. <br /> -3- <br />
