proposed streets and improvements to a grade different from the <br />surface of such streets as they now exist and that to said extent <br />said grades are hereby changed and said work will be done to said <br />changed grades. <br />9. The total estimated cost of such acquisitions, improve- <br />ments, and all expenses incidental thereto is the sum of $444,684.25 <br />after deducting a proposed City contribution to the cost of said <br />work in the sum of $42,748.52. <br />10. Except as herein otherwise provided for the issuance of <br />bonds, all such proceedings will be had pursuant to the Municipal <br />Improvement Act of 1913, as amended, and Ordinance No. 515 of said <br />City, as amended. <br />11. The Clerk of Redwood City shall give notice of the adop- <br />tion of this resolution by publishing a notice of proposed local <br />improvement once in the Redwood City Tribune, a daily newspaper <br />published and circulated in said City, and by posting same on or <br />near the Council Chamber door of said Council, said posting and <br />publication to be completed at least ten days prior to the date <br />of said hearing. <br />12. In the event any surplus shall remain in the improvement <br />fund contemplated hereinafter the improvement is completed, such <br />surplus shall be determined by the Council of Redwood City and <br />shall be refunded or credited in the manner provided in subsection <br />B of Section 10,427 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State <br />of California and Section 10,427.1 of said Streets and Highways Code. <br />W: <br />
