CHAPTER 7 <br />Sections <br />710 <br />Personal Representative. When there are no registered <br />voters, and an owner votes through a personal representative, <br />the latter shall be entitled to vote only if authorized to do <br />so, as follows: <br />(a) Corporation. If a corporation, by a resolution <br />appointing one of its officers or other person, certified by <br />its president or vice - president and secretary or assistant <br />secretary, and acknowledged. <br />(b) Executor, Administrator, Guardian, Trustee or <br />Receiver. <br />If an executor or administrator of an estate, or <br />711 <br />712 <br />a guardian, trustee or receiver, by court order. <br />Proxy to Vote. When there are no registered electors, <br />a voter or his personal representative may grant to another a <br />proxy to vote in his place-Any such proxy must be in writing, <br />signed and acknowledged by the voter, and must specify the <br />election at which it is to be used and must specify the owner <br />and whether the owner is a corporation or partnership or one <br />who acts through a personal representative. Any proxy may <br />be revoked prior to the election, in the manner of its execution. <br />Id. - Multi - Ownership. When there is more than one owner <br />of a parcel of land, the proxy shall be signed - <br />(a) by the husband, when tchis wife, (b) by the other owner, <br />713 <br />when to one of two owners, and otherwise by both, or (c) by a <br />majority of the owners, when more than two. <br />Id. - Personal Representative. When a proxy is granted <br />by a personal representative, it shall include the proxy and <br />the authority. <br />19 <br />
