CHAPTER 7 <br />Sections <br />715 <br />Voting Procedure. <br />The voting shall be as provided <br />for general municipal elections when registered electors are <br />the voters. When land owners are the voters, the procedure <br />used at the polls shall be as follows: <br />(a) A register of voters shall be kept by the inspector. <br />A copy of the list of voters and the number of votes each may <br />cast, with appropriate spaces for signatures, shall be used <br />for this purpose. <br />(b) Each qualified voter who votes shall sign the <br />register opposite his name. <br />(c) Any voter who is an executor, administrator, <br />guardian, trustee or receiver shall deliver to the ,judge a <br />certified copy of the court order authorizing him to vote. <br />He shall sign the register and state his title. <br />(d) Any voter holding a proxy of an owner or a proxy <br />and authority as a personal representative shall deliver the <br />same to the judge for examination. If the proxy or proxy <br />and authority are valid, the voter shall sign his own name <br />followed by the word "proxy" or "proxy and authority" in <br />the register opposite the name of the person giving the proxy <br />or proxy and authority. <br />(e) A list of persons casting ballots shall be kept by <br />the inspector. A copy of the list of voters and the number of <br />votes each may cast, with an appropriate space for inserting <br />the ballot number opposite therames listed therein, shall be <br />used for this purpose. <br />21 <br />
