CHAPTER 7 <br />Sections <br />715 <br />(f) As each voter signs the register, the inspector <br />shall announce the number of votes he is entitled to cast. <br />A judge shall insert in ink in both spaces on a ballot the <br />number of votes the voter is entitled to cast on that ballot. <br />The number of that ballot shall be placed on the list of per— <br />sons casting ballots by a judge opposite the name of the voter, <br />or,if a proxy or proxy and authority of a personal representative <br />is being voted,opposiLe the name of the person giving the proxy <br />or proxy and authority of personal representative. <br />(g) The ballot and the ballot number shall be checked by <br />the judge for accuracy. Any errors shall be corrected and <br />initialed by the inspector. <br />(h) A judge shall fold the ballot by placing the bottom <br />of the ballot on the line marked for that purpose. The ballot <br />shall be refolded by placing the folded bottom on the line <br />marked for folding so that the ballot is folded twice. <br />(i) A judge shall remove from the ballot the portion <br />above the perforated line and to the left of the vertical per— <br />foration. This ballot slip shall be handed to the ballot judge. <br />If a proxy or proxy and authority of a personal representative <br />is being voted the judge shall attach the proxy or proxy and <br />authority to the ballot slip. <br />(j) A judge shall hand the folded ballot to the voter <br />who shall take it into a voting booth provided by the council, <br />which shall be so constructed as to insure privacy.
