i <br />CHAFThfi 13 <br />Sections <br />1303 Tax Base. The tax rate and tax base for each annual <br />levy shall be established by the ordinance levying such tax. <br />Said tax base for the purposes of paragraph (a) or paragraph (b) <br />of section 1302 may be any one of the following: <br />(a) Land. Upon the assessed valuation of all taxable <br />land, within a district or each improvement district. <br />(b) Real Property. Upon the assessed valuation of <br />all taxable real property within a district or each, <br />improvement district. <br />(c) All Property. Upon the assessed valuation of all <br />taxable property within a district or each improve- <br />ment district <br />1304 Benefits. It is hereby declared that for the purpose <br />of any tax levied pursuant to this chapter all property taxed <br />within a district or any improvement district will be equally <br />benefited. <br />1305 Limitation on District Liability. Neither a district nor <br />the property tYiei•ein as a whole shall be liable for the <br />bonded indebtedness of any improvement district therein, nor <br />shall any money derived from taxation in a district as a whole <br />be used in payment of the principal or premiums (if any) or <br />interest on the bonded indebtedness of any improvement district.. <br />1306 Limitation on Improvement District Liabilit,p. No improve- <br />ment district nor the property therein as a whole shall be liable <br />for the bonded indebtedness of any other improvement district, nor <br />shall any money derived from taxation in any improvement dis- <br />trict be used in payment of the principal or premiums (if any) <br />or interest on the bonded indebtedness of any other improvement <br />district. <br />44 <br />
