CHAPTER 13 <br />Sections <br />1307 Collection of Taxes. All taxes provided by this chapter <br />shall be levied and collected at the same time, in the same <br />manner, and upon the same assessment roll, and have the same <br />penalties, interest, costs and provisions for redemption and <br />sale for non - payment, as general city taxes, except that the <br />amounts and purposes of all such taxes shall be set forth-in <br />the ordinance levying such taxes and that Sections 51 and <br />51.5 of the Charter shall not be applicable to any district <br />or improvement district.. <br />1308 Charges The council may establish and collect fees, <br />charges, tolls, rates and rentals for any of the utilities, <br />facilities, services or water provided by or in a district_ <br />or improvement district may establish procedures for the <br />collection thereof, and may from time to time appropriate <br />all or any part thereof to any of the objects and purposes of <br />such district or improvement district. <br />1309 Tax Anticipation Notes. Notes of any district or improve- <br />ment district may be issued by the council in anticipation <br />of the collection of taxes of the fiscal year in which issued <br />or of the next succeeding fiscal year by the procedure pro- <br />vided in Section 66 of the Charter, except that each such <br />note shall specify the fiscal year out of the revenues of <br />which it is payable and that the total amount of notes of <br />any district or improvement district payable in any fiscal <br />year shall not in the aggregate be more than 25% of the taxes or <br />estimated taxes of such district or improvement district for <br />the year in which such notes become payable. <br />45 <br />
