A <br /> permitted in all districts provided that a use permit be <br /> obtained in each case; and provided, further, that no use <br /> permit granted pursuant to this subsection shall be effec- <br /> tive until reviewed and approved by the Council, subject to <br /> such conditions and modifications deemed appropriate by the <br /> Council. <br /> "(e) Notwithstanding the provisions of Article 42, <br /> corporations and public service agencies having powers of <br /> eminent domain may apply for use permits in advance of ac- <br /> quisition of property rights. Even though construction has <br /> not begun, such permits shall not automatically terminate <br /> unless, at the end of ten years, the permittee has acquired <br /> less than 50 per cent of the length of the rights of way or <br /> area of property concerned in the permit granted." <br /> SECTION 2. This ordinance shall become effective 30 days <br /> after its adoption. <br /> -2- <br />
