April 8, 2002 <br /> <br />Subject <br />Authorize VCI Telcom to relocate and upgrade fiber optic line from the Community Activities <br />Building to the Veterans Memorial Senior Center. <br /> <br />Recommendation <br />It is recommended that Council approves by motion that the City Manager enters into an <br />agreement with VCI Telcom for the relocation and upgrade of the,fiber optic line from <br />the Community Activities Building to the Veterans Memorial Senior Center for an <br />amount not to exceed $18,731.00 <br /> <br />Background <br />The existing fiber cable and conduit system between the Community Activities Building <br />and the Veterans Memorial Senior Center has to be lowered to accommodate the <br />construction of the skate park.
