Any artifacts discovered during excavation <br /> <br /> shall be handled by a qualified archaeologist <br /> and turned over immediately to a government <br /> agency, to insure that they will be made <br /> available for public display. <br /> <br /> 3. Rationale and Facts Supportin~ Findings. There <br /> is little likelihood that cultural resources will be <br /> found in the Amendment Area but it is appropriate to <br /> provide a mechanism for their proper disposition in <br /> the event that a discovery should occur. The <br /> mitigations outlined in the findings are appropriate <br /> and acceptable to the Native American Heritage <br /> Commission. <br /> <br /> 4. Mitigation Monitoring Responsibility. <br /> <br /> Responsibility for mitigation monitoring shall be <br /> with the Planning Commission, and the Redevelopment <br /> Director, and handled on a project by project basis. <br />B.
