(9-1 C-2 <br />Fiscal Impact <br />The total purchase bid price is $191,840.65. Funds in the amount of $62,321.00 have <br />been tentatively approved in the 2003 -2004 Public Works Services Streets and Parking <br />Lots Maintenance budget for asphalt materials purchase. The remaining $129,519.65 is <br />allocated in the proposed 2003 -2004 Roadway Maintenance System (RMS) Capital <br />Improvement Program budget for materials used for prep work for the cape seal, slurry <br />seal, and overlay projects. The prep work for these capital projects is performed by City <br />crews. <br />Staff will not initiate this purchase until the City Council has formally approved the 2003- <br />2004 budget.
