PLANNING COMMISSION RECOMMENDS APPROVAL APPLICATION OF GEO. MATULICH TO RESUBDIVIDE LOT 16, <br />REESE SUBDIVISION (335 OAK STREET) IN TO TWO (2) LOTS, .0'x SUBJECT TO PROPERTY <br />OWNER PAYING FOR SEWER LATERAL. Councilman Royer moved approval, seconded by Councilman <br />Jones and carried. <br />PLANNING COMMISSION RECOMMENDS APPROVAL APPLICATION OF RICHARD SJOBERG FOR VARIANCE TO ALLOW <br />EIGHT UNIT APARTMENT HOUSE ON A 7,700 SQUARE FEET BUILDING SITE ON EASTER ONE -HALF OF LOT 49 <br />BLOCK 3, SWEENEY ADDITION (645 ELM STREET) NEED 8,000 SQUARE FEET. RESOLUTION 1812. Coun- <br />cilman Royer offered Resolution and moved adoption and authorizing the variance, seconded <br />by Councilman Jones and carried unanimously on roll call, Councilmen Britschgi and Spillers <br />n <br />�1 <br />noted absent. <br />PLANNING COMMISSION RECOMMENDS APPROVAL APPLICATION OF JOHN McCARTHY FOR VARIANCE TO ALLOW 10' <br />FRONT SETBACK ON PORTION OF LOT 2, BLOCK 9, WEST REDWOOD (1800 BLOCK OF OAK) RESOLUTION <br />1813. Councilman Jones offered Resolution and moved adoption, seconded by Councilman <br />Royer and carried unanimously on roll call, Councilmen Britschgi and Spillers noted absent. <br />PLANNING COMMISSION RECOMMENDS APPROVAL OF APPLICATION OF FERRIS MILES TO COMBINE LOTS 1 TO 6 <br />INCLUSIVE, BLOCK 79 EASTERN ADDITION ( CASSIA, HELLER, ELM AND MAIN) A SINGLE LOT TO ALLOW <br />SHEET METAL BUILDING. Councilman Royer moved approval, seconded by Councilman Stout and <br />carried. <br />PLANNING COMMISSION RECOMMENDS APPROVAL OF APPLICATION OF RICHARD KOHNE TO RESUBDIVIDE PORTION <br />OF LOT 6 BLOCK 24, OAK KNOLL MANOR (CANYON ROAD) SUBJECT TO CONDITIONS. They established <br />the following conditions: <br />1 <br />1. Paying a sum set by the City Engineer for water and newer <br />assessment prior to obtaining a building permit. <br />2. Deed ten feet along Canyon Road to the City. <br />3. Sign agreement to waive any claim against the City for <br />change of grade on Canyon Road. <br />City Engineer Jain was of the opinion that this re- subdivision should be held up pending <br />receipt of plans and cost of sewers and water on Canyon Road. The ultimate width of Can- <br />yon Road is still 'to be decided upon as well as grades and other information. After fur- <br />ther discussion Councilman Jones moved that the matter be set for a January study meeting, <br />seconded by Councilman Royer and carried. <br />INFORMAL AGREEMENT TO ZONE PROGRESS LUMBER PROPERTY TO C -1 on FRONT AND C -3 AT REAR OF PROPERTY. <br />The Planning Commission states that their recommendation is in line with the adjacent pro- <br />perty. Councilman Royer moved approval, seconded by Councilman Jones and carried. <br />1 <br />1 <br />PARK AND RECREATION COMMISSION RECOMMENDS FENCE MADDUX PARK ALONG SPILLWAY AND BORDERING CREEK, <br />COST $990.00. City Manager Rolison states that in the event the�Council approves this <br />expenditure he would recommend that a Resolution be adopted appropriating the necessary <br />amount from Unallocated Funds in the Capital Budget, since the fencing in Hawes and Com- <br />munity Park was paid from this source. After discussion as to the proper source of funds, <br />Councilman Royer moved that the $715.00 be transferred from Unbudgeted Reserve, and the <br />$275.00 originally alloted for the construction of a foot bridge which no longer needed <br />be used toward the balance of the cost of the fence. Motion seconded by Councilman Stout <br />and carried. <br />TRAFFIC FACT FINDING COMMITTEE RECOMMEND STOP SIGNS ON HARRISON, KATHERINE AND JAMES AT INTER- <br />SECTIONS WITH KING STREET - RESOLUTION 1814 was offered by Councilman Granger who moved <br />adoption seconded by Councilman Stout and carried unanimously on roll call, Councilmen <br />Britschgi and Spillers noted absent. <br />
