255 WHEREAS, said special municipal bond election was held on Tuesday, February 8, 1955, in accordance with law and the proceedings of said Council, and the votes thereat received and canvassed, and the returns thereof ascertained, determined and declared in all respects as required by law, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Redwood City as follows: 1. That the City Clerk of the City of Redwood City be and he is hereby instructed to enter this resolution on the minutes of this Council as a statement of the result of said election. 2. That the whole number of votes case in said City at said special municipal bond election was 6364 votes. That 10 ballots were spoiled and not counted. 3. That at said election the following measure for incurring bonded indebtedness was submitted to the electors of said City and that the number of votes given in said City for and against said measure (including absentee votes) was as follows: Total Total Total Ballots Vote Vote Spoiled and "Yes" "No" Not Counted MEASURE: Shall the City of Redwood City (Port Improve- incur a bonded ments) indebtedness in the principal amount $950,000 in accordance with the provisions of the ordinance calling the election at which this measure is submitted for the acquisition, construction and completion of the following municipal improve- ment, to wit: Improvements of the Port of Redwood City, comprising the development and extension of berths, wharves, transit sheds, cargo sheds, and related facilities; including buildings, sheds, platforms, wharves, piling, fill and paving, fire walls, automatic sprinkler system, and other fire protection facilities, lighting facilities, railroad tracks and switches, and other works, property or structures necessary or convenient for improve- ' ments of the Port of Redwood City? 3977 2377 10 L.. That by the Ordinance calling said special municipal bond election it was provided that for the purpose of said election said City of Redwood City was divided into thirty -six (36) special election precincts, the general state and county election precincts into which said City is divided for general state and county election purposes being thereby consolidated, and that the number of votes case in each precinct for and against said measure was as follows:
