Councilman Granger s�ated that he had heard <br /> rumors that he was trying to get rid of the present City rlianager. He vranted it understood that this was <br /> not so� he was merely looking f orvrard to the betterment of the City. In most cases all the present <br /> � <br /> department heads have assistants to help with the responsibility and to take over the depart�nent in the <br /> , � <br /> absence of the department head. This is not so in the case of the City ?��lanager and he thou�ht it only <br /> fitting that something should be done. This was f ollav�ed �y discussion after which the mo+ion carried. <br /> Councilman Royer moved that the City I�Zanager be authorized to �o ahead and fill the position, seconded <br /> by Councilman Stout. This was follovued by discussion regarding proper action taken in abolishing the <br /> position of Admi.nistrative Assistant.
